Mixed Media Monthly Challenge #37 A year of choices

Good morning to you all!  It's the start of a new month and the start of a new challenge At Mixed Media Monthly Challenge.  This month we are re-visiting the past 12 months and you have an extensive choice of themes to play with.

So I chose the theme where I very first started with MMMC and opted for 'Reach for the Stars'

On a 12 x 12 canvas I glued down die cut stars which had been cut from a sheet of Dylusions sprayed card.

I painted loosely over the top with Dina Wakley acrylics using  the colours lime, turquoise and night.

Using a variety of  stencils I went over my canvas.  I love these colours!  I think I'm going to a journal spread using these.

I needed to decide where everything was going to go so using the stencils I made some marks for my stars.

Using cherry pie and white linen Dylusions paint, I blended around my stars.  I added the stencil by Donna Downey - crescent moon using more Dina Wakley acrylics - Night. Using some 3D gel I added some more stars over the top through the Dylusions star stencil.
