About Me

My photo
Hi I'm Clare, I live in the South West of England in the seaside town of Torquay. I adore playing with inks, paints and generally getting messy. It is the calm place which fits in between my hectic life whilst working as an outreach support worker, looking after my son, daughter, foster son and hubby. Not forgetting our gorgeous springer spaniel, Suzi.

Clare 1 - Broken elbow 0

Howdy bloggers, I feel as though I am back in the game today. I had a very positive call from the fracture clinic today and they have told me that no further treatment for my elbow is required. They have suggested a support bandage which means it is a lot easier for me to craft.

Without further a do I set aside some time this afternoon for me to have a little play.

For this card I used:

Clear gesso

Dylusion paints

Dylusion ink

Dina Wakely-silhouetted women

Dina Wakely-plastic canvas stencil

Tim Holtz - splotches stencil

White posca pen

I painted my background with Dylusions paints and then added a splash of vibrant turquoise dylusion ink. Then using a dry brush I highlighted some areas with white paint. After that I built up other layers using the paints and stencils.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge: A sprinkle of imagination monthly challenge
