For this card I have used:
I love this Banksy inspired stamp, it is so versatile and it is great for male cards. I brushed on a background of blue and green using the wire fence mask. Leaving the mask in place I stamped the image through the mask. I then used the bubble wrap stamp using various distress inks to frame him. Last of all I stamped the wordage stamp and embossed.
A while ago I bought some air dry clay and made several shaped tiles but not made anything with them. This week I decided I would have a go and this is what happened.

For this project I used:
Guilding flakes
I just inked up my clay tile with distress inks. I then stamped with tacky glue the bark back drop stamp and rubbed in my guilding flakes. I stamped the wordge stamp onto a die cut shape, used black embossing powders and then heat embossed. I die cut and assembled a flower and foliage. Finally I added some wire to hang.

I'm off now to get up to some more crafty mischief.
Happy crafting,
Big hugs,

stunning altered art really do love what you have done x
ReplyDeleteLove both of these, Clare.....the 'spotty' colours on the card are great and that's such a good idea with the clay. The little hanger is brilliant. Is there any way you can get your pics to enlarge when they're clicked on....would love to see them in close-up xx
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I'd do that will look into it x x x
DeleteThese are gorgeous, love the sentiments and fabulous colours. To enlarge your photographs, whilst setting up your blog post and you have added your photograph click on it, it will turn blue and option will appear in blue, click on medium or large. I hope that helps.

DeleteFANTASTIC ... adore both your projects. The vibrancy and colour draw you in to the image and sentiment. Lou x
ReplyDeleteGreat card and hanger! I really love the text on both!
ReplyDeleteClare your projects look amazing. Beautiful colours and I love the quote. You wanted the name of the die I had used and it was Tim Holtz tattered pinecone from Sizzix. Also the glitter is from his new distress glitters. PS- finally got blogger to connect followers with you! hurrah!!
