This is for my father in law. He used to be in the merchant navy many years ago, so kept to a vintage nautical theme.
The next two cards are for my hubby who is a keen fisherman. I copied a picture of a common skate onto black card, cut out and decorated with Sakura pens. The background was one I made a couple of weeks ago with my shimmer mists I stamped with Lavinia textured edge (one of my favourite stamps) to create sea weed and drew some bubbles by hand.
The final card was stamped with a hobby craft map stamp on to some inky background and then added some mica powder to enhance around the edges.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at my efforts. Thank goodness that's done for another year!
Would love to hear your comments.

ReplyDeleteClare these are all great cards, I love them all, very impressed with the Skate its superb, well done, you certainly didn't need to visit my blog before you made these lol xxx
ReplyDeleteLol if you'd have been here you would have begged me to, the air was blue (as well as my fingers) and steam was escaping my ears. Wasn't in the best frame of mind for crafting but got there in the end :-). Just find crafting for men very difficult. Probably because I love bling, shimmer and all things girly ;-)
