Hi I'm Clare, I live in the South West of England in the seaside town of Torquay. I adore playing with inks, paints and generally getting messy. It is the calm place which fits in between my hectic life whilst working as an outreach support worker, looking after my son, daughter, foster son and hubby. Not forgetting our gorgeous springer spaniel, Suzi.

Blogging a little to soon? Part deux!

Well I managed to complete my task of decorating my zen tangle. It certainly has inspired me to buy myself a sketch book and be able to use some of the images I create. Not sure if they will be any good but I am certainly going to have a good go.

I kept it fairly simple just using some Nellie schnellen dies on turquoise mirror board. Decorated the zen tangle with liquid pearls and used some grey pearl card for the flourishes (marriane creatables. I layered on a turquoise pearlised card and then layered, at an angle, on some gold pearlised paper.

Alas the card is without a sentiment. I didn't have one suitable in my craft box so may have to think of one to whizz through the printer....... Any ideas?

    Love your zentangle and the beautiful colours you have used. I always find that a Best Wishes sentiment can be used for many occasions.

    You make me want to try my hand at Zentangle. Love those fabulous colors. I agree with Kate that neutral sentiments can be used for multiple occasions. My favorite stamp says "wishing you all things fabulous!"

    Wow Claire this is stunning. The zentangle is perfecty formed and your embellishments are amazing in that colour - they look metallic.
    I sometimes feel a sentiment can get in the way, and with a piece of art work this stunning I would be reluctant to cover it up.

    Lovely project, I don't think it needs a sentiment. The person will know why they're getting a card from you when you send it! I'd not heard of a zentangle - thanks for inspiring me to do one of my own! Ax
